I am an interdisciplinary researcher and writer specialising in fields such as energy humanities, feminist philosophy, and queer theory. My first book, The Nonhuman Narratives of Energy, is in literary and cultural studies, and specifically focuses on energy extraction exploring its impacts on nonhuman species.
Other upcoming works include a book entitled Crude Tunes: Histories and Cultures of Petroleum in Popular Music as a co-editor and contributor. I also write about my experiences with bipolar disorder and its relationship to work, nature and the environment: manic temporalities. I am carrying out further writing on these experiences involving an autotheory memoir entitled Running on Gasoline: The Energies of My Madness.
I am member of the collective Beyond Gender: https://beyondgender.space/. Here, we produce world-building SF queer and feminist writings and more.
